Requirements: As per federal law, you will have the choice to either operate the boat yourself (provided you have all applicable licenses and proficiency / insurance) or to retain your own captain. We can also suggest a list of approved captains to operate the boat but you must pay the captain, crew & fuel separately and directly to the crew of your choice at the dock. Ultimately, you as the charterer have the freedom to hire / dismiss the crew of your choice. Captains usually charge $300 for a 4 hour trip and fuel costs are $30 per hour.
